About Us

The TagaBrew Trail started back in 2014 and has continued to grow! It is now in over 585 breweries in 20 states and the U.S. Virgin Islands! TagaCheer (TagaBrew's sassy kid sister)  is located in many of the TagaBrew breweries in addition to wineries, cideries, & distilleries. We have worked hard to cultivate a community of collectors that includes folks from all walks of life. In addition to the trail, we host meet ups and other fun events throughout the year to engage our collectors and bring together those who enjoy craft beverages.

Co-Owner/CFO/Sales Lead/Marketing/Accounts Payable & Receivable/Recruitment/Public Relations

With an extensive background in both engineering and finance, Russ is our level-headed financial and projections guy. He is also enthusiastic at sales and sharing his passion for TagaBrew with potential brewery partners. He has practical and innovative ideas and often runs them by his wife, where they then solve any disagreements over a game of Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots. 

Russ enjoys watching football (college and pro), basketball, and other sports. He also loves spending time with his wife and their now adult children.  Boating up north on Torch Lake is another favorite activity. He tolerates his wife's love of feeding the various critters that visit their yard, and he often does it with a smile.

Co-Owner/CEO/Event Coordinator/Inventory & Order Fulfillment Supervisor/Marketing Design/Sales/Public Relations

After over seventeen years in education and three degrees later, Jan switched career fields and has embraced being part of the craft beer and fermenting community.  Corralling little humans prepared her for the task of corralling groups of taller humans at brewery crawls and other large events. She especially enjoys planning fun and interactive events for the community and working with our brewery partners to select cool charms for collectors to seek out with their tags. Her organizational skills keep the fulfillment center from turning into a FEMA disaster zone.

Jan enjoys reading, writing, and spending time in nature. Her happy place is either up at Torch Lake or an alpaca farm nearby.  She loves spending time with her family and close friends, whether it's a game night in or a fun evening out.  Oh, and the squirrels...

Favorite part of TagaBrew: "The connections and relationships we have made. It's more than a business to us - it's another family. It's fun to see the joy in others on the trail"

Favorite beer style: Tart ales or Hefeweizen

Partner/App Developer/Website & Tech Guru

Mark has been in the tech world for longer than the start of the world wide web. He is the mastermind behind the super cool, interactive TagaBrew app! We are thankful to have his technological guidance in order to prevent the other two partners from accidentally erasing the app data or inadvertently hacking something weird with the website.

Mark enjoys camping, hiking, and the great outdoors. 

Favorite part of TagaBrew: "The people I've met. I've met some life long friends doing TagaBrew."

Favorite beer style: "IPA and Amber ale"

Looking for a way to fund their hobby of craft beer drinking, Debi & Jim started TagaBrew. We are thankful for their creative idea and hard work to get it started before retiring to spend time with their children and grandchildren.
